Introducing Our Pride Month Exclusive

love is love soy candle

June is here, which means one thing: IT’S PRIDE MONTH, Y’ALL! And with it comes the release of L+F’s first limited edition release.

Meet our exclusive new candle, Love Is Love. Meticulously hand-poured layer by layer, this scent is a fragrant blend of fruity citrus cereal and creamy vanilla and is only available for the month of June.

As a queer-owned business, L+F is proud to celebrate and honor the LGBTQIA+ community with this special release. I knew heading into Pride Month that and I wanted to do something special to give back to this community that has made me feel seen, heard, and loved. And, with the cancellation of Pride parades and events across the world, I felt especially compelled to create something that would bring comfort to my LGBTQIA+ peers and provide an opportunity for advocacy.

She’s not an easy candle to make — each batch takes about five hours because each layer needs to cool completely — but she is my favorite product I’ve ever made and I’m proud as hell of her.

I am especially humbled to announce that in an effort to stand in solidarity with the Black community as they fight police brutality and systemic racism, 20% of the proceeds from every candle sold will be donated to the National Black Justice Coalition. NBJC is an organization fighting for the empowerment and protection of Black LGBTQIA+ communities through advocacy and education.

Queer black activists are the backbone of the LGBTQIA+ liberation movement. We owe our lives to the Black trans women who rioted at Stonewall and those who are victim to more violence than any other group of LGBTQIA+ individuals; to the Black gay men who suffered and died in silence during the AIDS crisis; to those who have been fighting like hell for over 60 years waiting for their white peers to fight along with them. We see you, we stand with you, and we fight for you.

Join L+F on our socials all month long as we provide education, support, and resources for LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies.

We’re here, we’re queer, and we march with pride.
